One Duck, A £100 Car and A Trip To Naples!
Posted under: My brother is taking part in the forthcoming Staples to Naples Street Safari event and some how managed to get a few quid sponsorship out of Duckland (in addition to their donation fund). The idea of the event is to take a £100 car, drive it from Staples (or in this case Calais) all the way to Naples (but in fact it’s Rome due to changes in the itinery).
Part of the sponsorship deal involved a little bit of branding and that the guys take a duck with them for photo opportunities… they also have a Giant Duck that sits on the rear shelf and there’s also a smaller duck attached to the bonnet.
As they driving into Italy I’m not too sure about their choice of car design! Hopefully team Torque of the North get to their destination safely and without incident. If you fancy donating to the cause then you can at Just Giving.
