On The Bandwagon…
1 Comment October 29, 2005 / Posted in UncategorizedLoquax has finally jumped on the Sudoku (or Su-duck-o) bandwagon and created a free daily play puzzle. It can be played online (and even tells you if the numbers are right or wrong) or offline and there’s 4 levels to choose from. Finding a script that generated the puzzle took a lot of searching, but we found one, adapted it and so far feedback to it has been positive. Given that it’s several months since the Sudoku bandwagon trucked into sight this time next year we’re planning to set up a millionaire pixel advert banner farm.
Whilst you cannot fault the idea of The Million Dollar Home Page to me it is simply one big banner farm… on a smaller scale (and yeah ok infinitely more successful and financially rewarding). The downside though is that it has sparked a flurry of similar sites and these now battle out their very own clone wars at The Pixel Wars.
Looking through them very few seem to have sold any inventory – in fact most don’t seem to have sold any pixels at all! Sadly though it looks like it’s bad news for Jen who seems destined to continue her career in the adult web industry much to her family’s dismay (or so we’d led to believe). Riding the pixel ad bandwagon isn’t proving to be as lucrative for her or for many others too.

Here’s another Sudoku site that I found. It’s got an easy game for our kids, and some challenging games for me. Long live Sudoku!!
