Look At Me I’m An Affiliate Expert

What defines an affiliate expert? The amount of money they’ve earnt? The number of websites they have? The length of time they’ve been in the industry? The knowledge they have gained by actively working with websites and merchants? Or their ability to metaphorically jump up and down shouting “look at me, I’m an affiliate expert”?

Newcomers to the industry beware! There are people who claim to be experts who base their entire affiliate expertise on the latter methodology. They are offering services to assess your site, plan and calculate how much revenue you can earn, and “fasttrack” you into the industry!

How they can offer this service is beyond me! In my opinion they are not in a position to offer this expertise. Loquax has been running websites for seven years, been in affiliate marketing for five years – and we wouldn’t claim to expert enough to offer our services. Still, I guess if you shout loudly and enough times people will eventually hear your message or believe what they read.

If you’re interested in affiliate marketing then you’ll not go too far wrong than by visiting A4Uforum. You’ll find loads of help and advice (and more links to help and advice) from people who are active in the industry, who operate quality websites, who have earnt decent revenue and who understand and help shape the industry. They’re the ones who don’t resort to the jump up and down “look at me” method. Even better, they probably won’t charge you a penny for asking a question or putting you in the right direction.
