It’s Friday, It’s 5pm, It’s Newsletter Time
Posted under: Blimey it’s Friday already – so that means an endless stream of emails offering affiliate deals, weekend specials, discounts, new creative, closed programs, changed rates, and countless other things that require attention… except they don’t because it’s Friday and the majority of these emails will be put off until Monday when a large number will probably be out of date.
Or they could just vanish all together as all my email did this morning. I’ve recently switched to Mozilla Thunderbird and so it was a bit of shocker to login this morning and find all my email gone. Fortunately, it was just hidden and not deleted, but still a pain. On a search for help apparently it’s a known problem with Thunderbird!
Now if I was sensible I’d back up all the important emails and address book – but I’m not sensible and often too busy (or being told to stop working and eat/drink/sleep) so it won’t get done. And that’s the problem with those Friday emails. They may be important, they may need attention, but it’s Friday and they’ll just have to wait for another day.
Anyway – that’s enough for now. It’s been a very productive week and all eyes now turn to that football match tomorrow. Come on Saints!!!
