Thanks To Coral & Brand Conversions

Last Friday we were lucky enough to be invited along to Ascot for a day’s racing as guests of Coral and Brand Conversions. As an affiliate I like these smaller get togethers, not only because it’s a fun and sociable day out, but it’s a more relaxed atmosphere to chat about work and get to know both network and merchant.

Coral put on top hospitality, and it was great to watch the day’s racing from the Coral Box, high above the finishing straight. In between races there was a chance to chat, eat, drink and lose money on the horses. It’s perhaps stating the obvious, but if a merchant treats you well, you’re more inclined to promote them!

Brand Conversions are one of my favourite networks, in part because they’re the only one that has discovered Swansea. They’ve just revamped their site too and if you’re a casino, poker or betting affiliate go and take a look. The only downside is they have a few Norwich supporters, but you can’t win em all (a bit like Norwich City… oh ok, and Southampton).

Talking of not winning them all, the day’s racing brought about a mixed bag of results: despite a couple of firsts, a couple of seconds and a third (which wasn’t bad based on the “that’s a nice name” betting method) myself and Jude ended a few pounds down on the day - and here’s one of the reasons why:

What No Jockey

Despite backing the jockeyless horse, it was a great day with great company - so a big thank you to Coral and Brand Conversions!

To complete a busy sporting weekend, the next day we were taken to White Hart Lane thanks to Julie to see the ‘mighty’ Spurs take on the ‘mighty’ Middlesboro. Not the greatest game, but well worth the trip just to see Berbatov (and to see Julie & Toby of course!).

I have def lost my touch with the geegees- had a great day with BC and Coral, the great company more than made up for the lack of winnings! Big up to the Surrey crew for the Spurs trip, made even better by going through Twickers and seeing Ospreys fans on their way to victory in the EDF final… tidy!
