Networks Launch New Bingo Programs

It’s bingo that features in the latest look in on what’s happening at the affiliate networks. First up is that Chit Chat Bingo are leaving Tradedoubler, they’re still on Affiliate Future and word from St Minver is that a new independent affiliate system is to be launched in the next few weeks that offers better reporting and more St Minver products to promote. (If you like SEO then keep an eye on an up and coming St Minver competition to win a trip to Las Vegas!)

Crown Bingo are closing their independent offering though and launching a new program with Buy.at, whilst Paid on Results have signed up Winzingo. Neither product really excites me though mainly due to poor performance with independent systems, but it will be interesting to see how they fair with their respective networks.

Many bingo programs operate on a revshare basis and often the reporting via a network is batched (data is sent from the merchant to the network say weekly and stats uploaded to affiliate accounts). This is how Gala Bingo’s program on Tradedoubler is meant to operate, but according to a recent A4U discussion “Gala Bingo did not put full live tracking in place”. Hopefully affiliates will be compensated for this problem that really does need to be resolved with some increased degree of urgency!

Elsewhere, and away from bingo, The Guardian have launched their first affiliate program with Affili.net. Earn commission by offering your users subscriptions to the online newspaper – they offer £40 for each subscription acquired! There are other elements to the program too so well worth a look.
