[...] Of course, affiliates do have the advantage of (hopefully) being able to bounce back, refocus, and change direction if need be - something that those made redundant due to company closes may not always have - so in that respect we should try and remain upbeat and motivated about AM.
I went through a terrible bout of demotivation in December & seriously considered giving this up & getting a "job", so in a way it's good to hear that even the most experienced have them too!

But a couple of new ideas & a sudden burst of blog mania has got me going again.....assuming I am doing the "right things", just gotta hope one of them kicks off enough to pay the leccy bill lolol.

I agree with the majority of new ideas occuring when away from the PC. Taking a short break is great to clear the mind and you tend to work a lot better when you return to the problem later!

I find that I have some many projects on the go that finding enough time to do them all is the major problem.

I suffer from the demotivation too, I have got my arse back in gear though since the new year and am cracking on with a few new projects. Back to burning the midnight oil once again. I do have the "4 hour work week" book on the go at the moment too which is possibly one factor in motivating me too :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who suffers for a bout of demotivation every now and then!

It's always difficult to know whether to jump on the social media / web 2.0 bandwagon with every new thing that comes along. Personally I like to think I know the industries I do best in quite well and try to think it would really benefit my site, or is me trying to do what the big guys are doing.

By the way, what's a holiday??
