It’ll All End in Tiers

I’ve never really like tiered commissions for registration programs and here’s why. Merchant X (it’s always them isn’t!) offers affiliates x commission per registration. Achieve 200 leads and you go up a level, 300 up another and so on and so forth. So you work hard and send leads, you go up a level and then another… and then at the end of the month your hard work is rewarded … by sending you back to the bottom rung again. Exactly where’s my motivation to keep promoting the program? The incentive isn’t there!

I’d rather the commission was fixed with monthly %age bonus based on volume. In a sense it’ll probably give the same ££’s at the end of the month, but at least you’re not faced with the demoralising situation of seeing that leads sent on May 31st are valued twice as much as leads sent 24 hours later!
