How To Make Friends Online

Oct 3, 2006 by jason    1 Comment     Posted under: Affiliate Marketing

Email received at 3pm on October 3rd from a dating site aptly name Make Friends Online…..

We are currently undergoing a yearly review our affiliate program. As part of this review we need all our affiliates to contact us giving details of where our adverts are being shown (page/website links etc).

This will help us more effectively track our affiliate relationships. We’d appreciate it if you could let us have this information by 9am Wednesday 4th October 2006. If we do not receive these details from any affiliate by this time we will have to temporarily suspend their account.

Surely the network interface can show where banners are appearing or clicks are coming from? And why give affiliates under a day to send in their links? People might be away, be busy, not see the email… so could end up suspended for no fault of their own. Merchants… this is not the way to make friends online!

  • Another excellent example of a well thought out email, bravo. When is your program going to close? Would be my next question ;)
