Blog Updates & RSS Feeds

The Sent by Another Affiliate issue is now hopefully sorted. So good work Affiliate Future and the merchant involved for resolving the problem. Links are back up and so far no sales have been removed.Â
Big Daddy search results do seem to have stabilised and search traffic does look more healthier. Bizarrely at the same time revenue for a couple of days was lower than usual which just goes to show you can’t fathom these things in a million years! However, some of our better search positions do seem to be back in place… at least for the time being!
RSS Feeds
Finally worked out how to get RSS feeds working from Buy.at and CJ… these should prove to be useful as one of the biggest frustrations as an affiliate is lack of information about merchants and their current consumer offers (I’m less interested in commission levels and PPC term restrictions). With RSS we should be getting to know about updates relatively quickly… all we need now are more networks to offer a similar service and then for merchants to start getting information to affiliates via other channels other than email (which often gets lost) or A4U.
If you’re looking for an RSS Reader – try the aptly and originally named RSS Reader – it’s free and it’s not too bad to use either.  Â
