Affiliate Heroes – Those Who Go Above & Beyond (2)

It’s been just over 2 months since the first Affiliate Heroes blog post, and so it’s probably time for another one. This is simply a brief thank you and mention to those people in AM who have been helpful to us over the past couple of months – and hopefully generates a bit of a feel good factor once in a while. Usual grumpy service will be resumed next week.

Emma Delaforce at Webgains: Remember that 2am phone call problem, well I raised a ticket for this via the Webgains system and despite it being a weekend, Emma responded and everything was nicely resolved within 20 minutes. Fantastic customer service.

Sunshine.co.uk: You can’t ignore these guys! If any new merchant wants to know how to make an impact on affiliates then look at how Sunshine have done it.

Brand Conversions: They (and Coral) invited us to Ascot so they get a mention, but also because Nathan is moving on from BC shortly. Thanks Nathan for your help and support!

Sarah Johnston at Buy.at: Everytime I email Sarah with a question or problem, even if it’s not her merchant, there’s always a reply and always things get sorted out.

The DGM Team: It’s a shame Matt Bailey has left (according to reports) as he’s helped get DGM merchants back onto Loquax, however things are starting to appear in the old commission boxes again at DGM so perhaps the phoenix is truly rising from the flames?

Joe Calzaghe: Thanks to Joe for fighting on Setanta Sports and in turn for them providing the perfect angle for promotions in the form of a £5 offer.

Once again apologies to anyone missed out, but yes your effort and help is always appreciated – plus there’s always next time! Note also that One Little Duck is not sponsored to promote the above merchants, networks or individuals – it’s just nice to say thank you.

Setanta attracted an extra 400,000 subscribers in the build up to the fight. The £5 discount was very popular for me too and I initially wasn’t that fussed on promoting it.
