Good to see you too at Expo – and I really enjoyed the apocalypse panel (and IAB one too). I think what you’re trying to do with respect to attribution is interesting, but it does throw up a lot of questions…. which is good

Good to see you and Jude out this year and completely agree about the squirrel! I had to check with someone else that they could see it too when I first saw it come up the escalator…

The comment you picked up on about users going directly to cashback sites was mine from the Apocalypse panel I believe! We’re doing a lot of research into how users move around between different affiliates – its early days yet but I’ll be happy to share this research once we’ve got our teeth stuck into it.

Completely agree with your point though – that kind of learning can’t be taken to be meaningful in isolation and there are about a thousand different arguments for both sides of whether it’s good or bad that it’s the case.

Glad you enjoyed the expo, I often spotted you holding lots of meetings and getting lots of business done

Thanks for the feedback. We try to give delegates lots of networking opportunities, for instance before the breakout party we had a music free hour and a half networking session with free drinks in the expo hall which lasted til around 7pm.

I agree though the music was loud at the O2 (despite us asking for it not to be and asking them 5 times to turn it down!) DJ’s have a habit of creeping up the volume. We wont be going back there as they let me down on a few things.
