I guess if you vote in April thats a good 6 months after the awards held in October as part of a4uexpo, but I see your point, its not a huge gap. I think in our minds when nominating we should be looking at activity post November until present day or untl the nomination deadline. Don't forget there is a second round of voting where we'll publish the top five (the shortlist) and we'll be asking back those who voted to once again choose an outright winner. We've adapted the awards significantly through feedback and now have 7 community awards including the 'Affiliates4u Award for Excellence' where its imperative people nominate their industry champions or stars.
