Arigatou Gozaimasu Affiliate Window (Thank You!)

When an invite arrived from Affiliate Window to attend their annual gala dinner I have to say I was quite excited. Having misread Nakama for Nakatomi the thought of a Die Hard themed evening was something not to be missed. Once it dawned that the event was going to be Japanese themed and not involve Bruce Willis, explosions and “Yippee-Kay-Yay…” fortunately the excitement was still there.

The event comprised a few drinks, some drumming, a lovely meal, a Robocop kind of robot thing and then a few more drinks - all set in The Brewery which had become adorned with Japanese imagery, video and decoration.

Robocop - Not Godzilla!

A big Arigatou Gozaimasu to Affiliate Window for the event, Buyagift and Smart Live Casino who were table sponsors, Scotts of Stow for the engraved business card hold, Red Letter Days for the competition and Play.com for the voucher competition too.

As usual a big thanks to everyone we chatted and drank with. Great as ever to catch up and you know you all want a Duck Bow Tie for the next event!

The journey back to Swansea was a bit of a nightmare. On one hand we did spot an I Want One of Those Taxi, and remembering that taking a picture of one could win £50 - we took a picture of it. Except the competition has now closed!

On the other… after rolling towards Swansea almost 2 hours later than the trip usually takes, the powers that be decided it was time to explain what was going on….

Congestion... Really?

… and that is Jude’s toe in the picture!

Hey Jason, I’m glad you had a good time at Nakama and maybe next year’s event will be Die Hard themed ;) lol! Regarding the IWOOT comp, their account manager Julie just popped over to let me know that she’ll be sending you some IWOOT goodies through the post as a consolation.

    Hi Kirsty!

Die Hard or even a Movie Theme would be cool! :o)

As for IWOOT - brilliant - thanks a lot! The taxi man looked startled when we started taking pictures of his taxi LOL!
