A4UExpo - Countdown To The Big Bang Event of 2008

Unless the entire world caves in on itself or gets swallowed up by mini black holes on Wednesday 10th September due to the switching on of the Large Hadron Collider then the countdown to a4UExpo 2008 will still be underway. Whilst the LHC will be smashing two beams of particles head-on at super-fast speeds, Matt Wood hopes that this year’s expo will create it’s own “Big Bang” in the world of online marketing.

According to the latest press release from Expo HQ “a4uexpo is all about learning, not sitting through sales pitches. This year’s agenda has been driven by the delegates, debated by the 20,000 members of affiliates4u and responds to the real issues facing everyone working in this dynamic industry.

From monetising user-generated content and optimising SEO strategies to successfully working with Video and securing buy-in at Board level, this year’s a4uexpo Conference provides the ultimate one-stop shop for getting to grips with Affiliate Marketing”.

The event is again being held at ExCeL London on October 14-15 and amongst the many highlights you’ll find:

1. Mobile Affiliate Marketing pioneer, Peter Glaeser who explains how Advertisers and Affiliates can make money on the Mobile Internet!

2. BT’s Chris King on how to secure Board buy-in for your Affiliate Marketing budget.

3. David Kelly who is now CEO of mydeco.com will be describing how a start up business wanting to enter the affiliate channel can take that course.

4. AOL’s advertising sales head Michael Streckler looks at the central role Affiliate Marketing now plays in the Digital Ecosystem

5. Coull founder Irfon Watkins discusses how to maximise the widely under-utilised Video resource via the Affiliate channel

With over 40 other sessions and around 80 speakers, including affiliates, you’ll find sessions on Landing Page Optimisation, Developing Profitable Websites with Mash-ups & APIs and successful Voucher Code Implementation.

Full details regarding the Conference Programme, including information on timings & speakers can be found at www.a4uexpo.com.

Let’s hope that the LHC experiment doesn’t go wrong and that come October 14th and 15th, we’ll all be enjoying what should be the affiliate event of the year.
