Swansea - The Perfect Place for an Affiliate Event!

Swansea is a brilliant place to live - Mumbles (as loved by Nadeem) and Gower are close by and there’s even a pier to visit. It’s an ideal place for a Buy.at Event.

The winner of the latest Buy.at promotion is offering affiliate’s the chance to win a networking party brought to their hometown. Unfortunately the competition is based on the percentage growth of weekend sales over the summer and not the opportunity to pitch for it….. because on a pitch, Swansea would win hands down!

Despite being the fourth most miserable place to live in a recent poll (it beat Newcastle so good news for Buy.at people), the one reason why Swansea is ideal for an affiliate get together is this….

We have people stuck down holes…

… and we video them!

    1. …and Swansea City have been promoted to the Championship and the Ospreys are pretty good too - happy days!

Let’s not forget that Swansea was also voted Britain’s wettest city in 2004, which will be extremely advantageous when the predicted droughts caused by global warming kick in :o)

      Best city ever!

    2. I would love there to be an affiliate gathering in Swansea. We could all have a weekend away to savour one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.

Last time I was there was with my Geography ‘A’ level class about 20 years ago, often digging fields and studying soil types - an affiliate do would be much more fun.

Maybe my view of Swansea is slightly skewed as I fancied the Geography teacher and, being a scorchingly hot week, for a couple of days she stripped off into her bikini to sunbathe on the gorgeous beach there. Those kind of things leave an indelible mark on an innocent teenager’s mind :)

    3. Swansea’s good for me too! Cardiff would be better but beggars can’t be choosers :)

    4. OO im up for that!

Swansea would be a great relaxing time for everyone! Although it may all be different if we decide to head down wind street!

    5. Hey

I am running the Buy.at competition and i would love to have the party in Swansea or Cardiff. I went to Uni in Cardiff and i would love to take a long overdue trip down the M4. Wales is a beautiful country and also a top night out to be had. It gets my strictly impartial vote ( i wont be deciding im afraid!). To be in the running you need to be in the top five at the end of September for percentage growth then an affiliate will be picked at random.

    6. As a welsh valley boy I have taken many trips to Mumbles, so Swansea and Mumbles gets a big thumbs up from me.
