Eye On The Networks

New on One Little Duck is a round up of what’s going on at the networks. Looking at things from an affiliate perspective it’ll be a round up of new programs, changes and general information.

Scratch2Cash have now closed their program on Affiliate Future (AF). A short live launched followed by suspension and tracking issues has now seen the program end. However, if you want to promote the program it’s still live on Afform. As one program ends at AF another 50 open and new to the network are Cosmos Holidays, Executive Shaving and Buy Boxes. Also joining them are 888.com and Pacific Poker plus a new competition site called 4aLot who claim to be “the the world’s first LICENSED online game of its type” - although it looks just like many other “buy a ticket to enter a competition” sites to me.

Affiliate Window are the only network with a Fantasy Football program having launched Times Fantasy Football! A great program but with only a day or two to go before the season starts, it’s a bit late kicking off! BangCD, Dyson and Flying Flowers are other programs that have joined AW recently.

Buy.at have said bye bye to Butlins Bingo as it heads for a holiday. It’s expected to return as a revshare program in the near future. Not returning though are BT who have taken their BT Total Broadband and BT Shop programs over to Tradedoubler. However, Buy.at have been busy with the big names and have launched new programs for Game, Dialaphone and Adams Kids. Empire Film Store has also launched but this is just Filmnight in disguise. Product feeds are also available.

As well as getting BT Broadband (which has a £40 cashback offer exclusively for affiliates to promote) and BT Shop, Tradedoubler have also launched Whittards, International Rail and Asda. Good news too for Boots.com affiliates as there’s a product feed now available.

Paid On Results newest merchant is Babyworld. Members receive 5% off all purchases and get free delivery on orders over £95. A good merchant to promote if you have baby/kids type traffic - and there’s a product feed available too.

New at Webgains this week are Cheap Flights, although only 20p a registration compared to 30p on Buy.at, DVD Popcorn, Envirofone and an interesting program from Barclays called Win a Contract. It’s £2.07 per online registration but Barclays will only be paying on registrations made by Barcays current account holders! As yet we’ve not seen any registrations for this program!

Revenue from CJ.com has been in decline for us for months now, but they do keep popping out new UK programs. The big news is that Hotel Chocolat have switched from AW to CJ - for product feed users this is a bit of a backward step as AW’s feed system is so much better than CJ’s. CJ have also launched JSinsurance, this might be a good program to look at in the next few weeks as they offer commission on Student Insurance.
