Thought for The Day

A few affiliate issues quite rightly don’t make it onto this blog, but those rants and frustrations do get aired to an audience of one and Jude thankfully is a good listener (either that or she shuts down until I shut up).

Anyway this evening she mentioned a phrase the origin of which is from the Serenity Prayer, which according to the link given is used by the A.A. movement, who adopted it at the core of their twelve steps. The religous and alcoholism aspects aside it kind of sums up how I see life as an affiliate at this current time.

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference!”
