Happy New Year

Happy 2006! Hope you all had a good time on New Year’s Eve!

To celebrate the New Year, the duck blog has moved from blogger to a new system… Wordpress. It allows better categorisation and organisation than blogger and seems all round to be a better system for running a site like this. I also found blogger becoming slower to use and often difficult to access.

So far so good though with Wordpress! It’s easy to install (5 minutes) and changing the theme is incredibly straightforward (although the theme options aren’t that great so a bit of adaption of this one is required).

    1. Nice new blog, just checking I can still post abuse when I see you are talking rubbish :-) however why is it in yank style dates with the month before the day?

I will have to get one of them blog things, but then with my spelling and English is so poor, I would also have to hire a PA to write stuff for me. That’s an idea. Blog PA Wanted! Wonder how many cleaners I would get applying for that job.

And Happy New Year, or in your case Grumpy New Year to you Jason ;-)

    2. Happy New Year mate! Love the look of the new blog: very classy, sleek, stylish and sophisticated. Just like you *cough*
