New Season New Sites

The football season has kicked off and it’s back to more of the same from Southampton. Nail biting tension, inability to score and lack of conviction in defence. It’s difficult to make a prediction based on one game, but the next few matches against Luton and Sheffield Wednesday will help gauge the chances of promotion this season. What needs to be avoided is a mid-table struggle or worst still a relegation battle.
Harry Redknapp has made few signings, but Dennis Wise and Hajto in defence look quality buys. The debut of Theo Walcott was also a plus and it could be that the St Mary’s faithful have a genuine talent to cheer and get excited about in the same way they once did with Le Tissier.
Away from football and a new site is slowly taking shape at Backgammon UK (still a lot to do and the POR content units are way too slow). Backgammon is supposedly very popular over in the USA - indeed some pundits (funnily enough those associated with backgammon sites) predict that it will be as big as poker. A check in at GameAccount found only 7 players playing - although it was saturday morning, but a quick look now (prior to posting) shows there’s 21 players, so it could be a grower. Sporting Bet currently have 124 players online, but it’s affiliate program does not include the backgammon section… who knows why???
