It Doesn’t Make Comet Sense

Last weekend I ordered a juicer for the winner of a Loquax competition through our Comet affiliate link. The order tracked with DGM, but for some reason which is still unknown the order couldn’t go through. A second order for another winner (a coffee maker) was also made, but no notification of the sale was received from Comet and no sale was tracked.

Sounds good so far… except this morning Comet sent a receipt for a coffee maker being delivered to the winner’s address! So the first sale tracked through the affiliate link but the sale failed, the second sale didn’t track through the affiliate link but the sale was fine!

I’m none the wiser why or what happened - but it does make you wonder and it does nothing for the confidence in understandinf how these things track affiliate wise. Put simply, if I feel (or know) commissions are wrong based on my own ordering experiences…. just how many are wrong from users!
